General Questions

How do I stay up to date about current job openings?
Thank you for your interest in joining Team RecSports! You can visit utrecsports.org/jobs routinely for the latest updates about current job openings. We also post all available positions on HireUTexas. If you’d like to be the first to know about opportunities to join Team RecSports, click here to opt-in to receive job alerts directly to your inbox.

I'm an international student. Can I work for RecSports?
Yes! RecSports hires and employs international students who are eligible to work in the United States. 

Does RecSports hire students with Work-Study awards? 
Yes! If you are a student with a Work-Study award, please let the hiring manager know during your interview.


Application Process

Can I apply for multiple jobs? 
Yes! On the application form, you can select up to three specific jobs.

I previously applied for student employment at RecSports and submitted a paper application form. Do I need to reapply using the electronic application form? 
Yes. If you previously submitted a paper application, please reapply using the new electronic application form. RecSports has discontinued the use of paper applications for student positions. 

What happens after I apply? 
Managers who are hiring will review your electronic application form, depending on the job(s) in which you expressed an interest. Managers will reach out to top candidates to schedule an interview.

When can I expect to hear back about the status of my application? 
Applicants will receive an email when their application has been received.  Top candidates for positions will be contacted. Applications will be kept on file for a semester.

Will you notify me when a job I applied for has been filled? 
Applicants who received an interview but were not selected for the position will be contacted. 

I recently applied for a job and wasn’t selected. May I reapply? 
Your job application will remain on file for a semester. To re-express interest in employment after that time, or to adjust your job interests, contact the RecSports Human Resources department at hr@utrecsports.org.

What if I need an accommodation for my interview?
