Rental equipment and resource materials are available to UT students and RecSports members. A valid UT ID is required.

Reservation Process
Visit the Outdoor Center during operating hours up to 10 days in advance to reserve equipment.
We ask you to check the equipment you rent before leaving the Outdoor Center for any damage or missing parts that may have been overlooked. Once in your possession, proper use and care of the equipment is your responsibility. Equipment must be returned to the Outdoor Center on time and in the same condition it left, or cleaning/late/damage fees may be charged.
Please ask the Outdoor Center staff if you have any questions about the proper use and care of the equipment.
Please note:
- The full rental fee must be paid upon making a reservation.
- Your rental gear can be picked up the day your rental begins.
- To reserve equipment using an Interdepartmental Transfer (IDT), please complete the Outdoor Center IDT Form and submit it in person to the Outdoor Center. When submitting this form, you reserve the equipment and complete a rental contract.

To request a cancellation or refund, please complete the cancellation request form.
